Custom Domain Setup

Use your own domain for your booking page and microsite.

Custom domains are available on Pro plans and above. You need a domain you own and access to its DNS settings.

Setup Steps

Go to domain settings

Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Domain.

Enter your domain

Type your domain or subdomain (e.g. book.yourbusiness.com).

Add DNS records

Add the CNAME record shown in your settings to your domain's DNS provider.

Wait for propagation

DNS changes typically propagate in 5-30 minutes (up to 48 hours in rare cases).

Verify

BookingMachine automatically verifies the DNS record and provisions an SSL certificate.

DNS Configuration

Add a CNAME record pointing your subdomain to BookingMachine:

Type:  CNAME
Name:  book    (or your chosen subdomain)
Value: bookingmachine.io

Note: CNAME records work for subdomains (book.yourbusiness.com), not root domains (yourbusiness.com). Use a subdomain like "book" or "schedule" for best results.

SSL

SSL certificates are provisioned automatically via Cloudflare. Your custom domain serves over HTTPS with no additional configuration or certificate management.

What Changes

Once your custom domain is verified:

Your booking page is accessible at your custom domain
Your microsite (if enabled) is served from your domain
The original bookingmachine.io URLs continue to work (they redirect to your custom domain)
