Adding the button to your website
The button is a single line of HTML with its styling built in, so it looks the same on any site and needs no stylesheet. In WordPress, add a Custom HTML block and paste it in. In Wix, use Embed Code, then Embed HTML. In Squarespace, add a Code block. In Shopify and Webflow, paste it into any custom HTML or embed element.
Put it where a visitor decides: at the top of the home page, at the end of each service description and in the site header. One button that is always in view does more than several that are buried.
Using the QR code
The QR code opens the same booking link on a phone camera. Download it as a PNG for print, or as an SVG if a designer is placing it on a van, a sign or a banner, since an SVG stays sharp at any size.
Print it no smaller than 2 cm across, leave the white margin around it, and add a few words next to it saying what it does. People scan a code that says "Scan to book" far more often than one with no label.
Questions
Does the button work with any booking system?
Yes. It is a styled link, so it opens whatever address you paste in: a BookingMachine booking link, another booking tool, or a contact page.
Will the button match my website?
Choose your brand colour, the text colour and the shape, and the preview shows exactly what will appear. The styling is written into the button itself, so your site theme will not override it.
Is the QR code free to use commercially?
Yes. The code is generated in your browser from your link. There is no account, no tracking redirect and no expiry: it keeps working for as long as your booking link does.
Can customers book without leaving my website?
A button sends them to your booking page. To keep them on your own site, embed a booking widget instead. BookingMachine gives you one line of code that shows your services, prices and calendar inside your page.
